Bibb County School District has a $5.5M gap for fiscal 2026 after staff found errors in budgeted costs (including $2.4M for bus drivers) in December; Superintendent Dan Sims said a budget amendment will be proposed in January while board members will review the issue at a meeting Thursday at the Professional Learning Center.
