- ➤ Georgia emergency officials and Georgia Power warn that a winter storm will bring icy conditions and power outages to parts of Middle Georgia, with freezing rain starting Friday afternoon and worsening on Saturday and Sunday. - ➤ Two new affordable homes were completed in Macon-Bibb County as part of the Tindall Fields development, which aims to expand long-term homeownership options for local families. County leaders said more single-family homes are planned through the Affordable Housing Fund. 41 WMGT
