- ➤ Georgia emergency officials and Georgia Power warn that a winter storm will bring icy conditions and power outages to parts of Middle Georgia, with freezing rain starting Friday afternoon and worsening on Saturday and Sunday. - ➤ River Edge Behavioral Health will open an Adult Peer Support and Community Integration Center on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 10:30 a.m. at 2016 Ingleside Ave — the new facility offers peer-led support, life-skills training and wellness programs for adults facing behavioral health challenges with shuttle service available. 41 WMGT
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Two new affordable homes were completed in Macon-Bibb County as part of the Tindall Fields development, which aims to expand long-term homeownership options for local families. County leaders said more single-family homes are planned through the Affordable Housing Fund. 41 WMGT

- ➤ Macon will break ground on a new 200,000 sqft sports and events arena near the Coliseum this summer; construction is set to start in July and finish by May 2028, with a design that will allow for 8,500 seats and a 1,200-car parking deck. The Macon Melody
