- ➤ Macon’s new arena project has Barton Malow + Sheridan Construction selected as construction managers to replace the old Coliseum with a modern facility for sports, concerts, and community events. - ➤ This weekend, several warming shelters open across Central Georgia to help residents stay safe amid frigid weather. - ➤ Everett Verner of the Macon-Bibb County Land Bank Authority celebrated two completed affordable homes on Jan. 26 in Tindall Fields along Plant Street.
