- ➤ Bibb County School District expanded its Future Farmers of America program with a new Young Farmer initiative to teach adult agriculture skills and connect graduates with local farms. - ➤ Macon County High School has named longtime Westside coach Sheddrick (Spoon) Risper as head football coach and athletic director, a move approved Tuesday by the Board of Education. Risper brings 28 years of coaching experience to his new role. 41 WMGT
- ➤ The Middle Georgia State women's basketball team defeated Clayton State 66 to 46 in Cochran Wednesday night, led by Mauryah Jones (15 points, six assists) in a strong first quarter.
