ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Crews from the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department responded to a fire at Jim Shaw’s restaurant on Vineville Avenue Saturday night—staff and customers evacuated and damage appeared confined to a storage area. WGXA
- ➤ On Saturday morning, a fatal car crash on I-75 South in Byron took the lives of two women—one of whom was 17—and sent a man to the hospital, the coroner said. 13WMAZ

- ➤ Downtown Macon's Cherry Street will host a Food Truck Frenzy and Cherry Market on March 29th and March 30th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. DJ Laura Starling will entertain the crowd as local vendors sell unique gifts and food trucks serve meals — this event is part of the Cherry Blossom Festival — and it is expected to bring many visitors. - ➤ Starting March 21st, Third Street Park will host Cherry Blossom Festival events with free music, Coca-Cola drinks and Cherry Blossom pink sweets offered weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.—sponsored by Atrium Health Navicent.
