- ➤ A Macon man was arrested on March 26 at Sprint Foods for punching a woman in the head and taking her cell phone after an argument with his girlfriend — he fled on foot but was tased and taken into custody and now faces charges of willful obstruction, false report and simple battery. 41 WMGT
- ➤ Bibb County authorities warned local residents about scam calls from people pretending to be deputies or bonding company workers who ask for money via Cash App to post bond or avoid arrest, and they said no arrest warrant call will ever demand immediate payment — anyone receiving such a call should write down the caller's info and report it.
