- ➤ Police are searching for a man suspected of fatally stabbing four people at Perry mobile home park — the incident reportedly occurred one hour before discovery — as investigators review the case. 13WMAZ
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Bragg Jam will take place on Saturday, July 26 in downtown Macon with returning headliners American Aquarium and Susto while adding Muddy Mystery Shows on Friday and Sunday. General admission tickets cost $50, VIP tickets are $125 and Bragg Fam tickets are $10 — the festival will offer local music fans a range of live performances — and it is expected to boost the city’s vibrant music scene. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued flood warnings for the Flint River near Carsonville and the Ocmulgee River near Macon. The Flint warning is in effect from today afternoon until Thursday evening with water expected above flood stage—while the Ocmulgee warning runs from late tonight to Friday evening and may affect local trails and nearby fields. - ➤ A late afternoon tornado warning in South Bibb County moved into Twiggs County Sunday and caused falling trees and power lines to block roads along Interstate 16. Twiggs County Sheriff's Office advised drivers to slow down for safety while Georgia Power worked to restore outages, and reports noted that two people were killed in Columbus from falling trees.
