Under his guidance, work on restoring old buildings and starting a Developer’s Academy led to over $1 billion in investment and more Black-owned businesses—an impact that still shapes downtown Macon today. - ➤ Macon residents can enjoy the Autism Rocks Music Festival at the Museum of Arts & Sciences on April 12 from 3:00 to 9:00 PM with live local music, food options, and a silent auction raising money for autism therapy scholarships plus community programs.
