  • Just Tap'd in downtown hosts a beer event on April 25 that offers a curated selection of craft beers and a rotating pizza menu to bring the community together. The brewpub, operating since 2014, fosters friendly gatherings + local connections.  The Macon Melody
  • A couple was rescued after their boat overturned on the Ocmulgee River near Highway 96 Sunday, prompting the DNR to issue safety tips to check weather conditions and carry proper gear (life jackets, throwable devices, fire extinguishers) when boating.  13WMAZ

  • Macon-Bibb Economic Opportunity Council held a ribbon cutting on Monday, Apr. 20 at 1:00 p.m. to open its new 32,000 sqft Head Start Center — a facility designed to serve nearly 400 children with students arriving in August.  WGXA

  • Bibb County Schools is reviewing two proposals to change L.H.
