- ➤ Macon native Jeff Battcher worked with sculptor Timothy Schmalz to create a replica of the Sheltering statue that Pope Francis blessed at the Vatican in November 2022— the new statue now stands at Daybreak to honor the homeless and remember the late Pope's care for the poor. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Georgia DECAL announced the Quality Rated Workforce Bonuses program to pay eligible full-time child care staff a $500 bonus each year in 2025.
