Friends and family will honor Macon music community member David Jarrell—known for his support of local bands—with a benefit on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Society Garden in Ingleside Village to help cover his end-of-life expenses after his burial on Tuesday in Warner Robins.

A Twiggs County couple reunited with their daughter after a three-week search — spanning nearly 600 square miles — ended when she was found in a remote mountain cabin near Lake Edison in California.

Her parents said they were grateful and authorities confirmed she was in good condition after she received treatment for dehydration.
