- ➤ ArcelorMittal Building Solutions will build its new North American headquarters at Airport South near Middle Georgia Regional Airport, bringing over 140 jobs (with an initial investment of $57 million and a planned $50 million later). ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ In 2025, sports tourism brought $17.9 million to the Macon-Bibb economy, with a repurposed indoor pickleball facility contributing about $4 million. Rhythm and Rally hosted large tournaments drawing over 5,000 players and will hold 15 tournaments in 2026—boosting local community growth. 13WMAZ

- ➤ Nineteen rural hospitals, including six in central Georgia, can apply for federal funds through the Rural Hospital Provider Assistance Program to support health care services.
