A family is calling for accountability after 22-year-old Breele Johnson was fatally stabbed in a Bibb County jail days after protests over unsafe conditions — they say staff negligence sparked the deadly fight.

A local homeowner discovered armadillo dens in his family woods while clearing invasive trees and found that the nine banded armadillo, common in Georgia, digs holes and uproots plants when foraging.

He said he will share the woods with the animal while focusing on controlling invasive plants—privet, Tree of Heaven and chinaberries.
