CRIME NEWS

  • Bibb County Sheriff's Office arrested Travis Glover, a 17 year old from Macon, on Saturday, Muchman Bond III, 24 from Macon on May 29, and Jarrius Curry, 28 from Macon on Friday in connection with a triple homicide at Midtown Daiquiri and Grill on May 18—three people were killed and six were injured.  13WMAZ
  • Bibb County officers arrested 17-year-old Travis Keyshaun Glover on murder charges and 28-year-old Jarrius Terrell Curry on aggravated assault charges over the weekend in connection with a May 18 drive-by shooting at Midtown Daiquiri Bar and Grill that killed three and injured several others — a third man was arrested on unrelated charges.  WGXA

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Macon-Bibb Planning and Zoning commissioners will meet Monday to consider an application for Macon’s first Raising Cane’s at the Shoppes at River Crossing — the restaurant plans to serve chicken fingers with late hours from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. on weekdays and 3:30 a.m. on weekends. The board will also review proposals for two new clinics, a lab that may offer human specimen testing in the future, and a pet funeral home offering aquamation near Whittle Park.  13WMAZ
