Johnson & Associates hosted their 14th annual Back-to-School Bash in Macon, partnering with groups—Beulahland Bible Church, Walmart, and Coca-Cola—to offer free backpacks, haircuts, school supplies, food, and entertainment for hundreds of local students and families. The event aimed to help them start the school year fully prepared.
Early Saturday morning at 4:07 a.m., deputies responded on Log Cabin Drive in Macon after a head-on crash ignited a Toyota Corolla and a Buick Enclave—deputies rescued a trapped woman from the burning Corolla while fire crews saved another driver from the Enclave, leaving both critically injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
