- ➤ A Warner Robins couple fighting a rare genetic disease will host the 2025 Cure VCP Disease Celebration today at Fall Line Brewing in Macon to raise over $100,000 for research funding. - ➤ A Macon man, 29-year-old Frank Boston, was charged with trafficking a 15-year-old girl after investigators said she was sold for sex at several local motels in 2022—law enforcement arrested him on July 31 with help from Bibb County and the U.S. Marshals Service, and he now faces multiple charges including statutory rape and child molestation. 41 WMGT
- ➤ Six individuals—including two inmates and two Chinese nationals—were federally indicted for allegedly trafficking fentanyl and synthetic cannabinoids in the Middle District of Georgia; three defendants appeared in court on August 7 and another is scheduled for arraignment on August 11. 41 WMGT
