- ➤ Macon Pride announced a week of events for Pride Week that will start on August 29 at Emerson at Plum with a kickoff event. - ➤ On Tuesday, Macon-Bibb County reduced its property tax rate to 9.575—a nearly 53% drop from 2021—following Mayor Lester Miller’s recommendation to help residents keep more money.
