Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says drivers should prepare for increased traffic on I-16, I-75, and I-475 this Labor Day weekend.
Officers will boost patrols and urge vehicle checks and safe driving practices under Georgia’s Move Over Law to keep travelers safe.
Macon-Bibb County Commissioners approved a $1.4 million match for a $5.6 million safe streets grant to fund new sidewalks, lighting, and a three-mile multi-use trail along Gray Highway in east Macon — the tax millage vote was postponed until Sept.
