Local artist Wini McQueen unveiled her new 12-by-12-foot 'Quilt of Names' at Oak Ridge Cemetery this weekend—she used fabric and color to honor the lives lost in the transatlantic slave trade and invited visitors to plant forget-me-not flowers as remembrance.

Experts, including historian Muriel Jackson, cemetery administrator Marvia Mitchell, and performing artist Kelley Dixson, shared reflections during the two-day exhibit.
