Heritage Southside Methodist has turned an abandoned gym into a center for Street to Success, an afterschool program that uses basketball to offer tutoring and life skills to local kids.

Ray Rover, who started the program nearly two decades ago—motivated by his faith—says it now also provides a computer room, kitchen and food pantry for community support.

For National Adoption Month, the Bogdan family in Forsyth shared their multi-generational adoption story—Shod learned he was adopted in elementary school after classmates asked him about his family, and later his home welcomed Brandon, a child born with cerebral palsy.

The family shows how love and care have bound them together.
