Johnson and Associates held a Thanksgiving dinner giveaway in Macon yesterday at 10 a.m.—the firm gave out 1,600 meals at four sites including Beulahland Bible Church North Campus, Burdell-Hunt Magnet Elementary, L.H. - ➤ The East Laurens High School Band of Gold was named the 41NBC Band of the Week this week. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ American Red Cross said that the busy holiday season is lowering blood donations in Macon — seasonal illnesses and family plans are making people miss their appointments, which worries officials who need a steady supply.
