- ➤ U.S. Marshals arrested three Macon men—22-year-old Dontae Antez Brown, 19-year-old Tylon Andrevious Alexander, and 44-year-old Tyrone Jerry Briscoe—in connection with the October 4, 2023, homicide of 58-year-old David Lamar Morgan at Safe Haven Mobile Home Park, and all are held without bond as the investigation continues. 41 WMGT

- ➤ At Tuesday’s commission meeting, Mayor Miller and Commissioner Stewart argued after the county voted to lower the millage rate, a move that will cut property tax revenue while increasing reliance on sales taxes.
